The Official Biography of Sir Winston Churchill

Home

The Classics teach that one may learn the art of statesmanship and of citizenship by studying those who have the reputation for it. The life of Winston Churchill presents an unsurpassed opportunity because it was so long and the facts of it are so well recorded. As publisher of the official biography of Winston Churchill, Hillsdale College is now completing the remaining six volumes of The Churchill Documents. The College is also the home of the personal archive of Sir Martin Gilbert, the official biographer of Sir Winston from 1968 until illness overtook him in 2012.
