Firearms Club

The Hillsdale College Firearms Club exists for students to learn and enjoy the sport of firearms. Two open shoots are typically held each week at the Hillsdale College Shooting Sports Center. The club's focus is currently on trap shooting, but as construction on College facilities expands, so, too, will the club's offerings. Current plans include outdoor ranges for pistol, rifle and archery.

All are welcome, from novice to experienced, and asked to pay $60 each semester in dues to cover range operations, gun use, ammunition and clays. Firearms are available for club use; private firearms are also allowed but must be inspected by a range officer. Ear and eye protection are provided and required. Prior to involvement with the group, students are asked to complete a safety briefing.
